"Summer Sun" sunscreen

The fresh, light gel-cream texture of this facial sunscreen provides the skin with weightless moisture while protecting against UV radiation and free radicals.

SunLite protects the skin against both UVA and UVB radiation, as well as free radicals.

Sunwell and Antileukine 6 provide moisturizing and soothing effects and protect the skin from sun-related damage.

Sepinov WEO acts as a co-emulsifier and ensures excellent distribution of the UV filter on the skin.

CleoClear ensures a finer, more even complexion.

Instructions:

Weigh out A1 and stir until the hydroxyacetophenone is dissolved

Weigh out A2, add, and stir

Weigh out B1 and stir until everything is dissolved

Add B2 and stir in thoroughly

Add B to A while stirring so that Instabond Velvet does not clump

Homogenize briefly

Check pH value and adjust to approx. 5 - 5.5 if necessary

Weigh out C and stir

Add B to C while stirring and homogenize immediately

Cover and let rest for at least 2 hours

Stir until smooth once more, being careful to avoid air bubbles

 

 

Important note:

*) An exact SPF can only be determined via in vivo testing in a laboratory. The estimated SPF is derived from the theoretical, calculated value based on the concentration used. However, the overall formulation and the processing method are also essential for the actual SPF, and this may deviate significantly under certain circumstances. Water and smudge resistance are also tested by independent institutes. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the actual protective effect of this product and advise using caution when exposed to UV radiation.

 

TIP:

TIP: Sepinov WEO serves here as both a gelling agent and an emulsifier. Gels created with Sepinov WEO can absorb small amounts of oil without the addition of further emulsifiers. However, the method of processing is important. Add it to the oil phase and emulsify the water phase immediately after you have combined the water and oil phases. SolarLite is a pre-emulsified, oil-soluble sun filter presented as an aqueous emulsion. Therefore, it can also be easily incorporated into this gel-cream and even helps with emulsion formation; however, it slightly delays gel formation, thus giving the gelling agents enough time to swell in the water!
