Hello, we are Katharina Pfatschbacher-Zach and Christian Archan from INNOMETICS.
KATHARINA
The first idea for our own innovative natural cosmetic raw material trade came to me, Katharina, back in 2016. At that time, I was training as a "certified cosmetic manufacturer" at the WIFI.
In my work as a developer and manufacturer of high-quality natural cosmetic products, I kept running into the problem that exciting raw materials outside the mainstream market were not accessible to me as a very small-scale buyer. Either the minimum order quantity was "astronomically" high, the price per kilo was beyond any economic viability, or information about their existence never reached Austria.
CHRISTIAN
I, Christian, would truly describe myself as a raw material junkie. International cosmetics trade fairs like In-cosmetics are like Easter, Christmas, and my birthday all at once for me. If there is a new, exciting raw material, I have to try it. Furthermore, I work as a cosmetic developer and pass on my knowledge as a lecturer at the WIFI Vienna and the Academy of Chemical Trades.
Triggered by the limitations for small-scale formulators, we decided in 2019 to go on an international search for new, exciting, and "fail-safe" natural cosmetic raw materials.
