Montanov 14 provides increased stability and viscosity with a neutral skin feel. Can be combined with all emulsifier systems when more consistency, emulsifying power, but lightness are desired.

An effective co-emulsifier based on sugar surfactant and fatty alcohol that can be combined with all O/W emulsifier systems when more consistency and texture are desired without affecting the skin feel. It is easy to handle and perfect for beginners and advanced users!

Montanov 14 is a self-emulsifying product that increases the emulsifying power of the emulsifier system while simultaneously providing consistency. It provides approximately the same viscosity as cetyl alcohol, with higher emulsion stability and without creating the dull, rich feel that is typical of longer-chain fatty alcohols. An additional plus is that the consistency, compared to other consistency agents, only develops relatively late. This allows air bubbles to escape from the product and makes immediate bottling easier.

Usage concentration and processing

• 0.5 - 2% (depending on the desired consistency)

• Melting point: 46 - 50 degrees

• Melt at over 50 degrees in the oil phase or in the water phase
