A special fusion of beeswax and jojoba esters combined with a high-performance emulsifier and consistency agent. Allows for flexible use, easy processing, and an incomparable skin feel. Perfect for all skin types!
With Emulblend Bee, it is possible to create a wide range of diverse formulations - from milky serums to rich creams. The result is bright white, glossy emulsions that leave a lightly enveloping, matte, yet noticeably protective film on the skin. Furthermore, Emulblend Bee reduces the tackiness in emulsions that often occurs due to certain raw materials such as humectants or plant oils. This allows even high amounts of glycerin or glycols (propanediol) to be incorporated without sacrificing a pleasant skin feel - perfect for intensely moisturizing recipes!
Products containing Emulblend Bee are also characterized by high tolerability, an anti-pollution effect, and moisture-binding properties. Moreover, products adapt to climatic conditions and environmental humidity. This keeps the skin silkily matte in summer and gently protected in winter. This makes Emulblend Bee particularly suitable for use in facial products (especially day creams) as well as hand creams.
An interesting additional effect of Emulblend Bee is the strengthening of the skin's own microbiome. It promotes the colonization of good bacteria on the skin, thereby reducing the colonization of harmful bacteria. This results in better inherent skin protection as well as an overall improvement in skin condition.
Compared to other emulsifiers, Emulblend Bee has a slightly lower melting point and is therefore very easy to process. It has high emulsifying power, but by itself, it tends to produce emulsions with low consistency. However, with the simultaneous use of a consistency agent, lotions or creams can be produced very easily. Fatty alcohols (cetearyl or behenyl alcohol) as well as Monatov 14 are particularly suitable for creating very elegant textures.
Usage concentration and processing
- 2-4% for lotions
- Melting point: 48 – 54 degrees
- Melt in the oil phase at approx. 65 - 70 degrees
- For oil phases up to 35%
- For higher viscosity, the combination with a consistency agent is recommended
