Rapid relief for irritated skin and itching.

Sensitive skin reacts quickly to external influences and irritants with redness, itching, burning, or stinging. These conditions can be triggered or promoted by various external stimuli. The main causes are:

Various inflammatory mediators (messenger substances) are released by the body and can initiate inflammatory processes. While this is often a natural reaction of the body, the associated negative effects often outweigh the benefits.

Symptoms of inflammation such as

are factors that reduce skin comfort and can significantly restrict quality of life. However, inflammation can also have various long-term negative effects, such as premature skin aging ("inflamm-aging") as well as a weakened skin barrier, resulting in skin dryness and hypersensitivity.

Delisens™ combats all signs of inflammatory processes and has a highly skin-soothing effect. It is a highly effective peptide in a natural butylene glycol base and can be easily incorporated into aqueous formulations.

The peptide itself acts as a messenger substance and specifically reduces the release of two inflammatory mediators (interleukin-6 and interleukin-8). In this way, redness and itching in particular are rapidly calmed. It can also reduce itching caused by allergy-related irritations and insect bites.

But Delisens™ also has a barrier-strengthening effect by stimulating the skin's own production of keratinocytes (skin cells). It can therefore also be usefully incorporated into regenerating and repair products, as well as in anti-aging products.

Delisens™ is the perfect active ingredient for sensitive and barrier-disrupted skin; in addition to irritation, it also improves the overall condition of the skin by promoting moisture, balanced desquamation, and overall skin suppleness. Therefore, it can be beneficial for all skin types and generally leads to a better balance of the skin.
