This Masterclass focuses on the topic of preservation, the significance of pH levels, gelling agents, humectants, and skin moisture.
Description
This module rounds off the previous ones and explains the most important substances we encounter in cosmetics (e.g., gelling agents). Furthermore, we will dedicate ourselves to skincare and skin moisture.
A particularly important topic is preservation - which goes hand in hand with pH levels. The latter is often crucial for the shelf life, texture, and effectiveness of certain cosmetic products. We will answer the following questions together:
- Can I preserve my cream with Vitamin E and citric acid?
- When do I actually need to preserve a cosmetic product?
- How long do my cosmetic products last?
- What is an alcohol and do I need it in my products?
- How do I protect my skin from drying out?

- Live and online via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to you in a separate email 24 hours before the Masterclass. Please also check your spam folder.
- The Masterclass recording will be available to you as "video on demand" for 12 months. The link will be sent to you within 3 days after the session.
- We recommend booking the Masterclass Compact, as some of the content may be cumulative. However, each Masterclass can also be booked individually.
Preparation
- Pens (ideally 4 colors), notepad, or digital tools for your notes
- good internet connection
- Please check your microphone (headset) and camera functionality before the start of the Masterclass. You can ask your questions live and in person directly during the online course.
