Sea lavender, also known as marsh rosemary, is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows in barren soils, including in Brittany. Interestingly, it is botanically unrelated to either lavender or lilac. Only the delicate violet lavender hue of the flowers is reminiscent of these plants.

However, its components are no less interesting: natural sugars, B vitamins, and minerals such as sulfur, magnesium, and phosphorus. Sea Lavender HC utilizes the plant's own ingredients, which are present in plant-based butylene glycol. Butylene glycol itself is an excellent solvent and humectant; it has a moisturizing effect and ensures effective transport of the active ingredient into the hair fiber.

Particularly noteworthy, however, are the amino acids contained in sea lavender. These are very interesting in hair care because they exhibit a certain affinity for the body's own keratin, allowing them to easily adhere to the hair structure and exert their conditioning properties. Sea Lavender HC primarily contains the hydrophobic (fat-soluble, i.e., water-repellent) amino acids proline, alanine, valine, and phenylalanine.

Healthy hair is naturally hydrophobic because it contains a special fatty acid on the hair surface - methyleicosanoic acid (18-MEA). This protects the hair from damage caused by environmental influences and humidity. It is therefore in the nature of things to preserve or restore this state.

Sea Lavender naturally supplies these hydrophobic amino acids and antioxidant plant substances, thereby protecting the hair fiber from damage and environmental influences. One of the most noticeable effects, however, is the reduction of static charge, which we perceive as unwanted "flyaway" hair. Fine hair is often particularly affected by this, especially in the cold season.

Sea Lavender HC was designed specifically to tame and soothe dry and straw-like hair. It also facilitates general manageability and styling. Because the active ingredient does not weigh the hair down significantly, it can also be used to condition fine hair without excessively compromising volume.

It is easy to incorporate and can be used in shampoos, conditioners, as well as leave-in products.
