Emulblend Caress is a synergistic composition of emulsifying waxes, a strong anionic emulsifier, and an innovative wax butter. All this results in a foolproof emulsifier blend with an optimal balance of product stability, performance, care, and sensory properties. It is versatile and enables the production of very robust emulsions that allow for a multitude of possibilities.

The wax butter technology of Emulblend Caress combines sunflower and jojoba wax into a special emollient that, in addition to its moisture-binding properties, also acts as a co-emulsifier. The different melting points of the two waxes lead to a very velvety-soft and enveloping skin feel as well as a delicately melting application sensation of the emulsions.

Emulblend Caress already contains two synergistically acting consistency agents that ensure a very high yet creamy consistency - Cetearyl Alcohol and Glyceryl Stearate. Both possess different HLB values and form a liquid-crystalline emulsion structure. This binds a great deal of water and releases it to the skin over a long period. At the same time, the skin is protected and guarded against moisture loss - for up to 48 hours!

Emulsions with Emulblend Caress tend to be rich, feeling enveloping and gently protective, yet never greasy or oily. Due to its excellent emulsifying characteristics, nourishing creams or luscious lotions can be stirred effortlessly. Depending on the amount of the oil phase and the desired consistency, a typical usage concentration of 3 - 5% is used. Even high fat phases of up to 40% oil can still be emulsified.

In themselves, no further consistency agents are necessary, but the addition of cetearyl alcohol can make sense for an especially high viscosity. For lighter emulsions, Montanov 14 is recommended, and for an increase in richness, Waxblend Hydrosoft can be used. The latter contains the same wax butter technology as Emulblend Caress and is therefore particularly suitable for delicately melting and extra-soft emulsions.
