Cleaning powder for limescale removal

This powder quickly creates a lush foam that adheres well to surfaces and dissolves limescale deposits.

This cleaning powder is one of seven recipes from our DIY set for natural household cleaning agents.

Ingredients (for 300 g)

Instructions

1. Place all ingredients into a high-performance blender or kitchen appliance (e.g., Omniblend or Thermomix).
2. Mix everything on the highest setting for about one minute to thoroughly combine the ingredients.
3. Transfer the powder into an airtight container (e.g., a screw-top jar).

Application

You can use the powder to clean fixtures, for example. Rub some powder onto the surface to be cleaned until a foam has formed (use 3–4 tablespoons for the toilet, for instance).

For stubborn limescale, let it sit for half an hour. Afterward, the limescale or deposit will have dissolved, and it can be cleaned away.

Caution: Not suitable for natural stone or acid-sensitive surfaces such as natural marble, limestone, or enameled surfaces.
