In this unit, everything revolves around the topic of cosmetic raw materials such as fatty acids, lipids, and emulsifiers.

Description

Once you understand what your raw materials consist of and why they behave the way they do, it will save you a lot of time, frustration, and materials.

The goal of this course is not to focus specifically on individual raw materials, but rather to understand which raw materials share similarities, why they are used, and how best to combine them. To truly understand all of this, this "Basic Chemical Knowledge" Masterclass unit will help you and facilitate your further progress.

For example, the following questions will be answered:

• What does an oil consist of?
• When is a substance liquid?
• What do drinking alcohol and cetearyl alcohol have in common?
• What is the difference between an oil and a wax?
• What is an unsaturated fatty acid?
• Why does an emulsifier emulsify?

• 2.5 to 3 hours (incl. 10-minute break)
• plenty of time for YOUR questions
• maximum of 15 participants
• Live and online via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to you 24 hours before the Masterclass in a separate email. Please also check your spam folder.
• The Masterclass recording will be available to you for 12 months as "video on demand". The link will be sent to you within 3 days after the unit.
• We recommend booking the Masterclass Compact, as parts of the content may be cumulative. However, each Masterclass can also be booked individually.

Preparation

• Pens (ideally 4 colors), notepad, or digital tools for your notes
• good internet connection
• Please check the functionality of your microphone (headset) and camera before the start of the Masterclass. You can ask your questions live and personally directly in the online course.
