The eye area is characterized by particularly thin and therefore sensitive skin, which can be especially affected by external environmental influences. GlamGlance is an innovative active ingredient based on a marine microorganism that manages to live in symbiosis with a salt-tolerant plant and exhibits various mechanisms of action. It:

• prevents weak skin tissue by blocking collagen-degrading enzymes and protecting the extracellular matrix
  
• increases skin elasticity by stimulating elastin production and strengthening collagen fibers
• increases the thickness of the epidermis, thereby reducing dark circles, eye bags, and wrinkles
• reduces vascular permeability and thus also eye bags
• reduces bilirubin (a breakdown product of blood pigment) and thus dark shadows under the eyes
• inhibits melanin synthesis, thereby having a slight brightening effect
• reduces wrinkle depth
